This year at Breakthrough Urban Ministries
we are looking forward to the Christmas season with great anticipation. For most
of us buying gifts for family and
friends to help celebrate Christmas is a tangible way to express love and
gratitude for those dearest to us. We invite you to partner with us to give this opportunity to our male and female homeless
guests, as well as youth involved in our programs and the community residents of East Garfield Park.
Saturday, December
15th at Breakthrough’s Joshua Center we will open the doors of our
Christmas Store. The Christmas Store will provide an opportunity for those in our
programs to purchase gifts for a nominal amount, using their own money, or in
some cases, earned “Breakthrough Bucks.” We are hoping to provide each person with a
dignified way to give their loved ones presents through our Christmas
Store.
