This position is designed to assist with the many phases of current and future capital campaign efforts. Other key responsibilities include fundraising for the annual fund. Activities include: developing relationships and securing funding from foundations and corporations through grant writing, increasing individual donor giving using the Benevon™, www.benevon.com and assisting with event management.

The Development Coordinator will join the Development team reporting to the Director with peers including the Volunteer Coordinator and the Communications Coordinator. He/she will play an important role in facilitating activities related to event planning, capital campaigns and grant writing, so related experience is a plus. Experience in fund development efforts is strongly preferred.

This quality team member will help grow financial resources to ensure fulfillment of Breakthrough’s mission to demonstrate the compassion of Christ by providing neighborhood-based holistic services that empower individuals, families and communities to overcome poverty, addiction and isolation.
