Coaches for Sport Programs
Friends are encouraged to coach together!
Breakthrough Basketball

A minimum of 22 coaches needed for the season.

Coaching needed for one game per week.

Both boys and girls leagues participate.

Sign up for two preseason meetings scheduled in late November.

Season begins the first week in December and ends the first week in March.
Baseball for Boys and Softball for Girls

A minimum of 18 coaches needed for the season.

Coaching needed for two games each week.

Sign up for two preseason meetings scheduled for the first week in April.

Season begins in April and ends in July.
Co-ed Soccer League
-
A minimum of 9 coaches needed for the season.

Coaching needed for one game per week.

Sign up for two preseason meetings in August.

Season takes place from September to November and again from mid-April to mid-May.

Tutors
Tutors for the After-School Program at the Joshua Center
An Academic Assistance program is provided to children ages six to 18.
Sessions take place weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00 p.m. to
6:00 p.m. The first semester runs from September to early January. The
second semester runs from February to June.
A weekly commitment to one session is requested. Ideally, tutors will commit to at least one semester of service.

Teacher Aides and Art/Music Instructors
for the Breakthrough Beginners program
Breakthrough Beginners is offered to neighborhood children ages 5 and
under. It operates from 9:00 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays, Wednesday and
Thursdays. The first semester runs from September to early January. The
second semester runs from February to June.
We currently need:
Teacher Aides - We prefer a weekly or bi-weekly commitment for one semester or one year of service.
Art and/or Music Instructor - You do not need to be a professional...just possess some creativity and a desire to work with kids!
